Bauman’s Farm Cider Festival caps month-long Harvest Festival
Bauman’s Cider’s annual Cider Festival will close out the fan-favorite and month-long harvest festival at the Bauman’s Farm in Gervais, Oregon this October 26th and 27th. The harvest festival attracts thousands every year for fun and games, including mazes, rides, cider donuts, apple cannons, and lots of food and drink. The cider festival dates are the best time to come if you would like to sample the award-winning ciders in the vast and beautiful farm setting in the Willamette Valley just a 45 minute drive from Portland, Oregon.
The event will take place from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets are available online for $40 and include full access to the Bauman’s Harvest Festival with all of the accompanying activities (tour Bauman’s Farm’s brand-new custom built Apple Cider press!), an exclusive Cider Festival tasting glass, and five tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase at $1 each.
In addition to the Harvest Festival’s regularly scheduled entertainment (games, rides, mazes, and slides…), 10+ of the PNW region’s best cideries are excited to come together to pour samples and get nerdy about apple varieties. Bauman’s Cider Co. Founder and Head Cidermaker, Christine Bauman Walter, will be present, pouring standout seasonal ciders like their Apple Cider Donut Cider and the Obsidian Blackberry Cider, made with the abundant blackberries that grow on Bauman’s Farm. Oregon’s other favorite craft beverage will be the star of the show, but beer-lovers will have plenty to sip on as well.
As in previous years, attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite ciders and a People’s Choice Winner will be crowned after the festival.
Bauman’s Cider Co. was founded by Christine Bauman Walter eight years ago at Bauman’s Farm. Christine was inspired by her family’s Willamette Valley century farm to create harvest-driven, terroir-focused ciders that have since garnered international acclaim. In 2024, Bauman’s Cider Co. expanded to include a new cidery in SE Portland, along with Bauman’s on Oak, their Portland-based tasting room and restaurant. The cidery at Bauman’s Farm continues to focus on their harvest-driven ciders, many of which are still made from apples and other fruits grown right on the Bauman’s family farm.
Date and Time: October 26 & 27, from 11 am - 4 pm (last pour at 3:45pm).
The Cider Festival is located inside Bauman’s Harvest Festival. Admission to the Festival is included in the price of the ticket.

More on Bauman’s Cider Company:
Bauman’s Cider Co. is an award-winning American cider company based in Oregon, founded in 2016 and led by Head Cidermaker Christine Bauman Walter. Bauman's Cider Co. makes dry, ageable, food-worthy single variety ciders that upend expectations about American cider. An emphasis on the orchard terroir and seasonally-driven cider is at the heart of Bauman’s mission. From customer favorites like the co-fermented Loganberry Cider, to complex and nuanced single varietal ciders like the Mountain Rose (made from red-fleshed apple discovered and cultivated near Corvallis, Oregon), Bauman’s leads with a sense of discovery. In the eight years since its founding, Bauman’s has garnered over 160 medals for its ciders and won five consecutive titles of mid-sized cidery of the year at two of the most prestigious cider competitions in the US. In addition to her cidermaking, Christine is the President of the Board of the American Cider Association and a board member of the Cider Institute of North America. She travels the globe tirelessly on behalf of the cider industry, always in search of new producers, new cider inspiration, and new ways to uplift the world of cider to the wider drinking community.
